GM Extends Its Electric Range
1 minute read time
GM Coachwork has announced it has extended its range of electric minibuses. As a pioneer of electric minibuses three years ago with the launch of the LDV EV80 lightweight minibus, the range is now significantly larger with products from Peugeot, Ford and Maxus.
Continuing its affiliation with Maxus, the eDeliver9 minibus features 14 seats (11 in the rear) and the option of a wheelchair access version with up to 11 seats and an inboard or underfloor passenger lift. An impressive range up to 219 makes the new Maxus a practical alternative to its diesel sibling.
Both Fords new eTransit and the eBoxer from Peugeot are available with up to 15 seats and the option of wheelchair access.
Graham Vooght, MD said “With the amount of investment being ploughed into EV’s by the manufacturers its evident it’s very much the way forward. At GM we have a history of pioneering firsts and the electric revolution hasn’t been any different. Our LDV light minibus three years ago was the start and now we’re delighted to be able to add to our electric range”
