Corporate social responsibility
Corporate social responsibility is part of who we are—a natural extension to how our range of products can change lives. In a world where the impact on the environment is receiving the attention it deserves, we are proud of our efforts to reduce our environmental footprint through achieving ISO14001 accreditation. We are always looking for ways to reduce the impact on the environment and believe change can be achieved through a constant collection of small changes, which collectively foster bigger change. We are a business who not only change lives through our product development but also in the way we support initiatives and individuals who, like us, are striving for perfection or to make an impact.
GM are very proud to partner with Jamie’s Farm who works with schools to support vulnerable young people who are at risk of social or academic exclusion. Students are referred for a lack of engagement in school, poor mental well-being and self-esteem issues, underdeveloped life-skills and negative relationships with adults and peers. Jamie’s Farm uniquely combines farming, family and therapy into a 5-day residential with a focus on giving children time and space to reflect, to renew and determine a new path for themselves. We do this by creating an environment where they feel respected and are given opportunities to display their talents and show responsibility.
GM are delighted to sponsor British Paralympic archer Nathan MacQueen who will be participating at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games as he strives to clinch gold as one of Britain’s top Paralympians.
