GM Export is a trade-only division which supplies businesses around the world with adapted vehicles and conversion kits. Established in 2010 GM Export has built up a trusted network of overseas trade customers spanning Europe and beyond. Our conversion only service meets the need where a trade customer wants to supply us with their own base vehicle, the most popular conversions are as above.
Ready-to-sell vehicles
GM Export offers a wide range of type approved wheelchair accessible vehicles based on the latest generation Ford, Peugeot and Citroen model range and drive-from wheelchair vehicles using Ford Custom and VW T6.1 platforms. We supply left-hand and right-hand drive vehicles and conversions most popular of which are the VW T6.1 Colorado and Ford Custom Colorado side entry conversions.
GM Export can supply conversion kits for some of our range of passenger wheelchair accessible and drive-from wheelchair vehicles. For trade customers with individual orders, vehicles can be built here in the UK at our facilities or if the volume of orders dictates that it is more cost effective to build the vehicle in the country of origin, then kits can be provided to our customers for volume production. Training will be given so that our trade customers can work to our production processes, warranty and after sales servicing recommendations. Most of our conversions have achieved a European Type Approval Status.
