Our Minibus Team Has Been Working Around the Clock to Design and Develop Two Mobile Health Clinics for Well Pharmacy
This week two Mobile Health Clinics have left our premises to travel the country to help fight flu this winter. Commissioned by Well Pharmacy, the largest independent pharmacy chain in the UK, GM were approached to come up with a solution from scratch. The project was handled from start to end by GM’s Paul Barber who used his 25 years of experience to deliver the perfect vehicle for the job.
Horton Commercials were commissioned to build a Luton conversion on a Peugeot Boxer chassis cab and the interior was designed and converted by GM. The interior boasts a reception area and two consultation rooms, along with a bespoke awning, to make healthcare services fully accessible to everyone. Two pharmacists will be available from each van with the aim to protect 200 people from the flu virus each day, along with other more routine healthcare services.
GM’s Paul Barber said “I’m delighted with the finished product; I believe we designed and produces a really functional vehicle that should prove perfect for the job”
The two Mobile Health Clinics will be operating nationwide through the winter in a bid to make healthcare services more accessible.
